As long as the princess stayed in the castle, she was protected by the King.
There were walls set in place to protect her.
Today we too can be in the castle with the King’s protection. God has set up some walls in our life to protect us.

*The walls of Bible reading and prayer

*The walls of the church

Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

*The walls of Godly counsel

Proverbs 11:14
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Stay in the Castle of God’s Blessing.

The princess was so blessed. She was in a place of safety. She had every need and most of her wants met.

When we are “in the castle,” we too can have all of the blessing of God.

Proverbs 10:22
The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. The princess was so focused on all that the village had to offer – temporary excitement – that she lost out on what would truly happy.
Never lose sight of the blessings. Stay in the castle of God’s blessings.

Stay in the Castle of God’s Best

The King had already had a plan all along. Because He loved his daughter greatly, He wanted the very best. Sometimes Satan gets us to cast our eyes on something that is less than best.

Isaiah 55:9
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Just as the King had been thinking about and planning the very best for his princess, God is thinking about and planning the very best for your life. Trust that He wants the best for your life.

Psalm 84:11
For the Lord our God is a sun and shield, and he giveth grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Stay in the Castle of God’s Service.

The princess sat by the window every day and waited and looked. She was waiting for the Prince to come. She should have been better waiting on….

*Wait for: a period of waiting.

*Wait on: act as an attendant to someone. (such as a server or stewardess)

While you are waiting FOR God to work in your life, wait ON God. Serve Him. Keep yourself busy. Focus on others instead of your situation.

The princess would have had less discontentment if she had waited on instead of waited for.

The Bible says in Psalm 27:14
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

I Samuel 12:24
Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done
for you.

Stay in the Castle until the Prince comes.

The Princess was tired of waiting and watching. She stopped looking to highway where the prince would come, and started looking to the village below. Keep your eyes on Christ instead of the world.

Matthew 25:13
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor
the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

STAY IN THE CASTLE.
