DEAF BAPTIST LADIES RETREAT
Representing Christ in Our Social Life
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Love One Another
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Forgive One Another
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man had quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Slow to Anger (Keep Your Cool)
A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
Tame Your Tongue (or your fingers)
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
I Peter 1:15-16
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
